Sustainability Stories,
Straight from you

This year, our Quilters Take a Moment theme is Sustainability Stories. We are presenting content focused on sustainability, defined broadly: working with textiles in a way that sustains the earth and its resources, sustaining the tradition of quilting for future generations, maintaining a creative practice, making quilts in a way that’s sustainable for our bodies, and sustaining the lives and stories of our quilts into the future.

We want to hear YOUR Sustainability Stories! We’re putting out a call for anyone to submit a three minute Go Tell It! Interview about any quilt or other textile work they’ve made on the theme of sustainability (in whatever form that takes for you).

If you’re interested in learning more about making a Go Tell It! video, visit our guide here – complete instructions and upload details are available on that page. We’ll be collecting videos until August 15th, and making them available in early September. As a thank you for recording a quilt story, we’ll share a code for 50% off a 3-day pass for QTM’s lineup of spotlight interviews and sustainability panels if you’re interested in attending the event.
